My keys to success are staying curious, listening with empathy, and believing that there is always a solution to every problem.
I am most thankful for my parents who proudly immigrated from Vietnam and gave me the opportunity to pursue the education that has shaped my life today.
Vinson is a Western Massachusetts native and joined Warshaw, Di Carlo & Poncia, P.C. after earning his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. A graduate of East Longmeadow High School, Vinson attended his father’s alma mater, Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Although he initially planned to pursue a career in medicine, his undergraduate studies sparked a strong interest in law, ultimately leading him to pursue a legal career.
During law school, Vinson was actively involved in student leadership and community service. He served as Treasurer of both the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and the Middle Eastern South Asian Law Association (MESALA), and as a board member of the American Constitution Society (ACS). He was also an elected member of the Roger Williams University School of Law Honor Board, where he served as both a panelist and student counsel. In addition, he worked as a teaching assistant for property law, helping first-year law students understand complex concepts related to ownership and usage rights in both real and personal property.
Vinson developed a particular interest in real estate conveyancing after assisting his family with a real estate transaction, an experience that underscored for him the meaningful role attorneys play in guiding clients through important life decisions. Before focusing his practice on real estate conveyancing, he gained broad legal experience in civil rights litigation, veterans’ disability appeals, patent prosecution, offshore wind development, and criminal defense
In addition to his legal background, Vinson was previously certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has worked as a tennis instructor, coaching players of all ages and skill levels.
