Our very own Attorney Hoyt-Rupert spoke this past Tuesday morning as a featured panelist with the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education on the topic of ‘Litigating Real Estate Disputes’. Maggie joined Honorable Judge Vhay from the Massachusetts Land Court, and Attorney Danielle Long from Robinson + Cole for for a lively discussion. Maggie has been involved in various aspects of litigation, and chose to focus her presentation on preventing litigation through due diligence, careful drafting, and dispute resolution.  Maggie spoke about the comprehensive due diligence that an attorney must conduct in order to spot issues before they become a problem, and the importance of careful drafting of contract provisions to best protect your client.
