My keys to success are finding humor in stressful situations and discovering innovative approaches to problems.
The best part of the office is the synergy between colleagues; we genuinely collaborate on client issues to solve problems and reach conclusions. We have a terrific team!
My hidden talent is seamlessly working song lyrics into every conversation. It’s a gift.
Margaret Hoyt-Rupert (Maggie), is native of York, Pennsylvania and a 2005 graduate of Bryn Mawr College (this makes her a “Mawrtyr”). She lived in Philadelphia and Washington D.C. before making Boston her permanent address. It was during her second year of law school that she found a home working with Warshaw, Di Carlo as a law clerk and has since refused to leave.
Maggie especially loves working with first time homebuyers and guiding them through one of life's most important milestones. She considers her role as both advocate and advisor, oftentimes continuing her involvement beyond the real estate transaction into estate planning, pre-nuptial agreements, and the purchase of investment properties. Maggie has a particular penchant for condominiums, handling all manner of condo issues and complaints, condominium landlord-tenant matters, and structuring condominium conversions for two-four family homeowners as well as investors.
Maggie brings a unique business and client-oriented perspective to the matters she handles, adopting principles that she developed during her successful retail management career with the Boston based retailer, City Sports.
In her prior business life, Maggie managed several stores and a staff of over 60 employees. There she developed the skills that contribute to her success as a lawyer: time management, prioritizing tasks, and understanding client communications. It is these same business skills that allow her to provide effective representative and promote a positive client experience.
Maggie is a key participant in hiring decisions of the law firm. She is particularly pleased to have developed the interview protocol that has led to the current team.
In addition to being a classically trained vocalist, Maggie is an outdoor enthusiast, cyclist, hiker, and runner who attempts to keep up with her wife, Keli, and dog, Tenley, in their many outings. Putting all of her creative talents to use, Maggie is presently developing “Warshaw, DiCarlo: The Musical”, coming soon to a theater near you!
