Aside from millions of fans, hundreds of “close” friends, Prince had to have a gaggle of lawyers on call for the legend at any moment. I can’t conceive that none of those lawyers let Prince walk out of their offices without having the simplest and most well-known of all documents – a will.

Yet apparently they did.

I like to tell people who don’t have or think they don’t need a will that it’s not about how much money or assets that you have or don’t have, it’s about the mess you leave behind!

Lesson learned. For Prince it came true. He left a mess behind.
