First Justice of the Eastern (f/k/a Boston) Housing Court, Jeffrey Winik is affectionately referred to as the "Dean" of the Housing Court.  He discussed practical tips from the bench, with a particular focus on lawyers appearing in the Housing Court, and insights for new lawyers at the beginning of their careers who wish to practice in this area of law. In light of the expansion of the Housing Court's jurisdiction, Judge Winik also discussed his vision for the Eastern Division of the Housing Court Department, the programs it offers, and how New Attorneys can be more involved in these essential programs.
