We are alive.  We are well, and we are still here for you.

As part of his Emergency Orders, Governor Baker has declared that Conveyancing Attorneys are ‘essential businesses’ as part of the financial supply chain, so we remain open. We are currently conducting closings (both refinances and purchases), creating and implementing wills, trusts and estate plans, and conducting other crucial services. We want to help you safeguard your family and your finances and while doing so, take all possible precautions for the safety of our staff, our clients and your data.

Importantly, Attorney Noel Di Carlo, in her position as Chairman of the Residential Conveyancing Committee of the Real Estate Bar Association has been working tirelessly with the legislature and other interest groups to draft emergency legislation which will allow attorneys to conduct closings by using video conferencing.  The proposed bill has been filed with the senate and a legislative vote is anticipated this week.

Please refer to this space for further updates as they evolve.
